Planning a night out, or just need to get across town on a Saturday? These are the planned Tube closures and TfL engineering works on the Underground, Overground, DLR and Elizabeth line for the coming weekends, straight from the live TfL API. Works run from Friday night through last service on Sunday unless the description says otherwise.
Sat 17 – Sun 18 October

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Replacement bus services operate.
Saturday 17, from 0100, and all day Sunday 18 October, including Friday and Saturday Night Tube, no service between Hammersmith and Heathrow (all terminals) / Uxbridge. Use METROPOLITAN LINE services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge, and ELIZABETH LINE services between Central London and Heathrow, and for connections between terminals. Replacement bus services operate.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, no service between Edmonton Green and Cheshunt. Replacement bus service L2 operates between Enfield Town and Cheshunt via Southbury, Turkey Street (Hertford Road), Waltham Cross (for Greater Anglia) and Theobalds Grove.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, a reduced service will run between Kilburn High Road and Euston. On Saturday, between 0630 and 2030, trains departing Watford Junction at 30 minutes past each hour will terminate at Kilburn High Road. From 0715 until 2115, trains departing Euston at 15 minutes past each hour will start from Kilburn High Road. On Sunday, between 1130 and 2030, trains departing Watford Junction at 30 minutes past each hour will terminate at Kilburn High Road. From 1215 until 2115, trains departing Euston at 15 minutes past each hour will start from Kilburn High Road

Use MILDMAY LINE services between Gunnersbury, Kew Gardens and Richmond. Replacement bus services operate. If travelling to Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening, please use the PICCADILLY LINE to/from Earls Court and continue at street level.
From 1930 Saturday 24 until 1200 Sunday 25 October, no service between Willesden Junction and Shepherds Bush. There will also be no SOUTHERN services between Watford Junction and Shepherds Bush at these times. Please use local London Buses connections on Routes 220 and 228.
From 1930 Saturday 24 until 1200 Sunday 25 October, there will be a reduced service between Shepherds Bush and Clapham Junction.

Saturday 31 October, from 0100, and all day Sunday 1 November, including Friday and Saturday Night Tube, no service on the entire line. Use ELIZABETH LINE services between Central London and Heathrow, and METROPOLITAN LINE services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement bus services operate.
Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, no service between New Cross Gate and West Croydon / Crystal Palace. Rail replacement buses will run as follows: New Cross Gate - Brockley - Honor Oak Park - Forest Hill - Sydenham - Crystal Palace. Tickets will be accepted on Southern Railway services between Crystal Palace and East Croydon via Norwood Junction. Alternatively, customers may use local buses or trams via any reasonable route.

Which Tube lines are closed this weekend?

How far in advance does TfL announce weekend engineering works?
Most TfL closures appear in the system two to three weeks ahead, with some added or changed at shorter notice. Weekends further out showing no works usually mean nothing has been announced yet, not that the network is confirmed clear. This page is rebuilt from the live TfL API every few hours, so the calendar fills in as works are published.
Does the Night Tube still run during weekend closures?
Not always. When a section of a Night Tube line is closed for engineering works, the closure normally includes the Friday and Saturday Night Tube on that section, and TfL says so in the closure description. Why is the Waterloo & City line never listed?
The Waterloo & City line only runs Monday to Friday. There is no scheduled service on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays, so it never appears in the weekend works list. See its timetable for weekday hours.
